Welcome to the Gloomy Hollows
of Spookinite Valley

Est. Sept. 2012

Letter 11 - May 1st, 1877

Dear Quincy,

I share your sentiments, which is precisely why I left Hemlock ten years ago. The town was never quite the same after the Autumn of 1851. I doubt we shall ever learn the fate of our friends and family—and perhaps that is why you find Hemlock to be a place of perpetual melancholy. Your unrest and dejection will never subside until you have left. And regarding your observations of Spookinite Valley, I vehemently agree. One day you might disappear if you continue traveling along the route through there.

Jacob
