Welcome to the Gloomy Hollows of Spookinite Valley Est. Sept. 2012 Letter 24 - September 19th, 1845 Dearest Morella, Anthony has been found wandering the streets of Hemlock; but he is not well. The physician believes that his mental instability is worsening by the days. He suffers from horrific night-terrors and hallucinations, during which he incoherently yells about the most unusual fancies; they are always about ‘the night sky reigning forever’ or ‘hordes of abhorrent beasts’ invading Hemlock. Though we have assured him this will not happen, he violently insists otherwise. His ramblings frighten me. I fear that he will never recover from whatever so cruelly plagues him.
