Unusual Sightings on Ghastwood Hummock
Ghastwood Hummock is an isolated hillock rising from a meadow in the valley. Peculiar sights and sounds are not uncommonly reported by travelers. Most witnesses describe sudden bursts of violet-hued lights radiating from the top, as well as loud, shrill wails resounding from its grassy summit. Sometimes a dark and hooded spectral form might be seen by onlookers hovering over it, as if silently spying. And amidst thunderstorms, blazes of lightning frequently strike Ghastwood Hummock, causing purplish sparks to discharge sporadically. For this reason, many believe the hill is a forbidden gateway to some realm beyond the material world.
