Sept. 2012 The Midnight Wraith Perhaps one of the most infamous legends is about a figure called “The Midnight Wraith.” This apparition is described as possessing a deep-violet robe that looks as if it were sewn together with amethyst and the nocturnal heavens. And within the pointed hood is said to rest a pumpkin head—with an unwelcoming smile and scowling eyes carved deeply. This phantom is believed to be a portent of madness. For what is known is that those who have claimed to encounter him in the past were often sent to Warwick.
