Sept. 2012 The Midnight Wraith One of the oldest legends surrounding Spookinite Valley is that of the apparition called ‘The Midnight Wraith.’ This specter is described as possessing an unearthly robe that looks as if it were sewn together with amethyst and the nocturnal heavens. And within the shadows of the pointed hood is said to rest a pumpkin head—with an unwelcoming smile and scowling eyes carved deeply. This phantom is believed to be a portent of madness. For what is known is that those who have claimed to encounter him in the past were often sent to Warwick. Although the true nature of this enigmatic phantasm is not entirely known, it would nevertheless be wise to stay far from its menacing presence.
