Tobias the Ebon Cat
The black cat commonly seen throughout the valley is quite often referred to by residents of Hemlock as “Tobias.” With burning golden irises and tenebrous fur, this feline is considered to be an ill-omen—and for very good reason. Many travelers have attributed their apparent misfortunes and tragedies to Tobias. Oddly, such accounts of this cat can be read as far back as the late 18th century. You must remain watchful should you encounter him.
