Jeffrey Randolph,
My words were in no way to be construed as ‘belligerent,’ but since you have chosen to send conspicuous threats in your last letter, the veil of politeness and civility is no longer necessary on my behalf. You are one of the most loathsome individuals I have ever had the misfortune of knowing. Your flattery and insincere words fool not even the most gullible individual to walk the earth. Warwick’s very presence has sullied the reputation of Hemlock, and I am not alone in believing this. We are all sickened by you and your crumbling institution. I yearn for the day that its grisly silhouette no longer mars the sky.
