Sept. 2012 The Bloodcurdling Bellow at Sunset Many travelers have told tales of a bloodcurdling bellow that resounds over the land around sunset. It is heard before the sun disappears over the horizon—especially when the heavens and clouds are deep hues of red. Although many attribute the cry to some horrendous creature, others believe that it is actually the valley itself wailing—declaring the arrival of night.
