Welcome to the Gloomy Hollows
of Spookinite ValleyEst. Sept. 2012
Twilight
Written by Benjamin Fouché
Stars spread afar like distant jewels;
Moonlight glimmering on black pools.
Owls hooting from high above,
Lightning bugs sharing their bright love.
Through the dusky hollow I run,
And relishing the absent sun.
Does anyone else feel this way?
“The night is a sanctum!” I say.
Forthcoming autumn stirs quite near,
Reminding me of times so dear.
Bats flutter down and touch my head,
“Nightly wonders,” someone once said.
Peering into the starry shroud,
I read these hidden, lost words aloud.
Always shall I reside within,
The valley of my midnight kin.
