Lost Letters
Letter 50 - June 19th, 1886
Chief McArthur,
I request in earnest that you send officers to my house at once. Last night, a group of ghastly marauders intruded upon our home, terrorized our three guests, vandalized the property extensively, and attempted to abduct us. Although nothing was stolen, and I presently do not understand their motivations, it was nevertheless a distressing ordeal. The trespassers were exceedingly gaunt and their flesh appeared as though it were decaying and withered. They spoke very little, and mainly groaned or uttered incomprehensible phrases. Their clothing was raggedy, shredded, and stained. It also appeared that a few were missing fingers. I know for a fact that one of them had no left arm.
