Lost Letters Letter 47 - November 25th, 1888 Dear Mr. Moore, Taylor’s horse was found wandering near the covered bridge. A search party has once again commenced, and we are anxious to investigate further. I should also mention that yesterday, my detective learned that the tract of land known as ‘Spookinite Valley’ is owned by C.W. Ormiston. Unfortunately, the only address associated with this name is an abandoned manor house half a mile from McCormick Hollow. Nonetheless, I have sent two officers to inquire at that address; perhaps this C.W. Ormiston does dwell there and can provide us with answers. Please come to my office if you can recall anything you may’ve failed to mention before. We will not rest until your friend is found.
