Lost Letters

Letter 42 - November 18th, 1888

Chief McArthur,

Has your detective made any progress thus far in the investigation of Taylor Dickenson’s disappearance? I understand that, surely, I would’ve received word if my friend’s whereabouts were discovered. When I last spoke with you, I failed to mention that I had sent Taylor a letter. Perchance it is still within his mailbox? The reason I ask is because I had passionately advised him against returning to Mansfield’s Inn. Moreover, I must ask if you have spoken to Mr. Mansfield yet? If you search his property, I am certain you will find answers. I beg you to respond as promptly as possible. I cannot express my swelling dread and grief.

Your obedient servant,
Allan E. Moore
