The Unacquainted Chair
If you awaken to a sense that someone else is in your home, it could be indicative of an unexpected guest. However, confronting this visitor may not end too pleasantly. Many have described leaving their beds in the middle of the night to find a tall, Gothic chair facing the fireplace. The closer they step toward this unacquainted piece of furniture—and before they can see who is seated—they begin to endure auditory and ocular hallucinations. By morning, this strange visitation seems as if it were only a dream. However, such encounters may curse one with a lingering paranoia. It is thus advisable to lock your bedchamber door should you feel as though this unwanted guest has intruded into your residence.
