Hemlock’s Town Library
Hemlock’s Town Library towers over Hepzibah Street like a brooding castle. Though its Gothic presence is architecturally different from most of the surrounding buildings, it nonetheless complements the already-encompassing gloom of the vicinity. Inside, the ceilings rise beyond the shadows, and a labyrinth of bookshelves confronts the curious. But past the accumulation of dust and forgotten dreams, various tomes and documents within the archives contain greater details surrounding the valley’s history, including records from early settlers. Other works recount old fables and tales that are no longer remembered. What lost truths hide here?
