Lost Letters
Letter 61 - August 25th, 1890
Greetings Herschel Stewart,
Congratulations on becoming the newly appointed Mayor. I am confident that you shall do well and exceed the expectations of every citizen. Together, we shall bestow upon Hemlock the leadership of which it is so deserving. Of course, we at Warwick send our warmest regards. Should any trouble arise, I urge you to write to me at once; petty political hindrances are not to be tolerated. As you know, the tragedy of Mr. Wright’s mania has rendered him unfit for office. Nonetheless, he is well within our care—and perhaps will be for quite some time. As a matter of fact, I believe he is in your old cell—amusingly enough.
My sincerest regards,
Jeffrey Randolph
