The Old Chapel
An old chapel sits silently on the black soil of Maple Hill. Although it has not seen funeral services for quite some time, a light may occasionally be seen faintly glowing through the thin, wavy glass of the arched windows. This curious gleam may sometimes flicker several times before being extinguished. Presently, there is no caretaker, and many therefore wonder who is visiting the chapel after dusk. Sometimes its doors thud open whilst imminent thunderstorms summon whirlwinds over the graveyard. In other instances, the bells in the narrow spire may toll, warning anyone nearby to stay away. Others have apparently seen something large treading through the cemetery whenever the light appears.
