Phantasmagoric Mist
A phosphorescent, blueish-green mist is sometimes observed hovering over the still waters throughout the valley. At first, it may appear to be but the deception of a weary eye; yet upon closer inspection, one realizes that its glow is increasingly radiant while it spreads, moving independently of the wind. Although no one is certain what this is, it has been claimed for generations that the phantasmagoric mist appears shortly after tears have been shed over the waters—revealing that someone was recently weeping and is enduring extreme emotional grief. Some interpret the glowing, turquoise vapors as an apparition, while others believe its presence is a manifestation of one’s sorrows.
