Journal Entry 8 - [Date Not Available]
Mr. Randolph is not amusing. He never smiles and listens to what I say. I know he was once a prisoner here. Indeed, he is quite the liar. His greatest secret is that he was not meant to be released. Some say he escaped. I’m certain he changed his name after this; but no one believes me when I tell them the truth about Mr. Randolph. I like Dr. White, but his mind is very fragile. He endeavors to believe he is helping me, yet his efforts are in vain. Although his games are far too predictable, I must humor him; for he cannot help that he is unenlightened. Poor Dr. White. How tragic it is that only when vast wisdom is obtained does one see how gullible everyone else truly is.
