The Cromwell Crypt
Within an unnamed and forgotten cemetery in the valley, there rests an ornate mausoleum with the words “Cromwell Crypt” engraved over the entrance. Countless travelers and residents of Hemlock swear to have had nightmares about this macabre structure; these unnerving dreams almost always contain narratives of being buried alive or locked inside of the tomb while the remains of the dead begin whispering unpleasant things and reaching out. Strangely, all individuals who have allegedly had these dreams claim they held no prior knowledge of the crypt’s existence. Some stories suggest that the Cromwell Crypt is actually a doorway to somewhere else entirely.
