Never Run Toward Lantern Light
While lost in the doleful dale, it is ill-advised to believe that a passing light may be unforeseen deliverance by happenstance; for rarely do travelers in distress escape by the helping hand of a stranger. On the contrary, such sights, lost individuals may find, are ones to be feared and avoided. Everyone knows that to hold a lantern while treading along the valley roads is foolish and only seizes the attention of nightstalkers, monsters, revenants, wraiths, and spirits. Consequently, whoever is carrying the lantern is either an inhabitant or surely someone up to no good. But should you be credulous enough to hasten up to the radiance, you might very well find Chester slightly smiling at you in the lantern light.
