Peculiar sights and sounds are not uncommonly reported by travelers. Most witnesses describe sudden bursts of violet-hued lights shining from the top, as well as loud, shrill wails resounding from its summit. Sometimes a dark and hooded spectral form might be seen hovering over it from a distance. Regardless of whether these accounts are true, Ghastwood Hummock’s reputation lives on.
